VI. Events:

     1. Adult male and female group: Anyone was born between 1st Jan, 1970 and 31st Dec, 1987.
      Events: Single Kumite, Single Kata
    2. Senior High School male and female group: Anyone was born between 1st Jan, 1988 and 31st Dec, 1990.
      Events: Single Kata, Single Kumite
    3. Junior High School male and female group: Anyone was born between 1st Jan, 1991and 31st Dec, 1993.
      Events: Single Kata, Single Kumite
    4. Elementary School 4th, 5th and 6th grade group: Anyone was born between 1st Jan, 1994and 31st Dec, 1996.
      Events: Single Kata, Single Kumite
    5. Elementary School 1st , 2nd and 3rd grade group: Anyone was born after 1st Jan, 1997.
      Event: Single Kata


IIV. Way to sign up:
     1. Every unit can sign up several team leaders, coaches and umpires. At most every unit can sign up 4 players in every level of Kumite match, and for the Single Kata, every unit can sign up 4 male players and 4 female ones.
    2. While signing up, every unit should hand over athletes’ Personal insurance and Physical Examination Certification including electroencephalogram, electrocardiogram, blood pressure and sphygmus, which should be given by hospital within 15 days before the match.


IIX. Regulations of the match:
    1.The match uses the competition rules of WKF and additional rules of our match.
    2. Kumite players should check up and weigh one hour before the match starts.
    3. Only Heian Shotan to Heian Gotan can be played in Single Kata match below the level of Junior High School Level, and only international regulating eight katas can be played in Adult Level.
    4. The katas played in the first round and second round should be different, from the third round players can play any kata players would like to.
    5. The match will be divided into Kumite and Single Kata, both of which use championship system.
    6. Adult male Kumite is divided into five levels: -60KG, -65KG, -70KG, -75KG, and +75KG.
    7. Adult female Kumite is divided into four levels: 45KG, -50KG, -55KG, and +55KG.
    8. Senior High male Kumite is divided into three levels: -55KG, -60KG, +60KG.
    9. Senior High female Kumite is divided into two levels: -55KG, +55KG.
    10. Junior High male Kumite is divided into two levels: -50KG, +50KG.
    11. Junior High female Kumite is divided into two levels: -40KG, +40KG.
    12. The male 4th, 5th, 6th grade of elementary school level has just one Kumite level.
    13. The female 4th, 5th, 6th grade of elementary school level has just one Kumite level.
    14. The order of match depends on every unit’s signing up and athletes’ weight. Order and record group take the responsibility.
    15. Male and female Kumite one-inning-win. Male one’s time limit is watch-non-stop 3 minutes, while the female one is non-stop 2 minutes.
    16. Senior and Junior high school Kumite levels’ time limit is watch-non-stop 2 minutes.
    17. Elementary school Kumite time limit is watch-non-stop one and half minutes.
    18. Every one getting higher marks in time limit wins. Every one getting 6 to 0 wins.
    19. In elementary school kumite level, if draws, adds 30 seconds; the other levels adds 1 minute.


IX. Place in competition:
    1. Male and female kumite gets the first three ones in every level.
    2. Every level’s athletes of male and female kumite are less than 4, then that level will be combined with the closest level.
    3. Every level’s athletes of male and female kata are more than 10, gets the first 6; between 6 to 9, gets the first 3; between 3 to 5, gets the first 2; 1or 2, just as performance.


X. Way to sign up:
    1. Signing up date is the date the regulation is published.
    2. The last day to sign up is 25th Mar, 2006.


XI. Outlay:
    1. Every unit takes the responsibility of outlay itself.
    2. Every athlete of every unit should pay every event (kata, kumite) which he or she signs up 30 US dollars. Chinese athlete should pay 100RMB for every event which he or she signs up (kata, kumite).
    3. Room and board fee is 60 US dollars; the committee will arrange standard room. If any unit has it own place to live, please inform the committee while signing up. Chinese athletes solve the room and board problem themselves.
